Congressman Ryan Zinke stopped by NBC Montana Today on Wednesday to talk about homelessness, affordable housing, carbon emissions, energy, border security, and his residency.
On the topic of homelessness Zinke said sanctuary cities were a problem, and that a host of other issues are at play as well.
“Certainly in Montana, with the homelessness issue, there are people who need a hand up, absolutely, but there are also people that are mentally ill, that have checked out, that are on drugs, who choose this lifestyle,” Zinke said.
